NOXUBEE — Howard Lee Langford, 61, died April 11, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Running Water M.B. Church in Shuqualak with the Rev. Tyrone Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Macon. Visitation is from noon-6 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services in Macon. Carter’s Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Langford was born July 30, 1957, in Noxubee County, to the late Will “Bo” Langford and Bertha Mae Langford. He was a 1977 graduate of Noxubee High School and was formerly employed as a mechanic with Noxubee County and Trailboss. He was a member of Second Running Water M.B. Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Felicia; and sister, Bernice Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Daisy Langford; children, Jemarcus Langford and Angleisha Langford, both of Columbus and Patrece Young of Tupelo; siblings, Barbara Tate and Willie Langford, both of Columbus and Derone Langford of Shuqualak; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Billy Conner, James Brewer, Leon Skinner, David Turner, Joel Taylor, Rufus Cockrell Sr. and Caleb Bush.
