ABERDEEN — Helen Ann Dodd Pruitt, 80, died Aug. 6, 2018, at her residence. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Lamar Pruitt and the Rev. Dave Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow at Oddfellows Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Pruitt was born April 25, 1938, in the Binford Community of Monroe County, to the late H. W. Jim Dodd and Julia Alice Dodd. She was formerly employed with Vista. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Dodd. She is survived by her sons, Dale Pruitt, Wayne Pruitt and Lamar Pruitt, all of Binford Community; brother, Jimmy Lee Dodd of Starkville; sister, Edna Kendall of Huntsville, Alabama; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Mike Bunch, Kevin Bunch, Randy Boyd, Carhl Stahl, Casey Pruitt, Justin Pruitt, David Fisher, J. W. Kendall and Wesley Dodd.
