EUPORA — Hattie Martin, 99, died June 30, 2009, at Golden Living Center Nursing Home. Services are Monday at 11 a.m. at Josey Creek M.B. Church in Starkville with the Rev. Thomas Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Josey Creek Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 9-11 a.m. at Josey Creek M.B. Church. Century Hairston Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Martin was born Dec. 17, 1909, to the late John Campbell and Mary Nash. She was a member of Josey Creek M.B. Church. She is survived by her sons, James Martin Jr., of Starkville, Roosevelt Martin, of Corpus Cove, TX., and John N. Martin, of Jackson; daughter, Mary E. Johnson, of Starkville; sisters, Gracie Campbell, of Starkville, and Ophelia Campbell, of San Antonio; 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her great-grandsons.
