MILLPORT, Ala. — Gloria Leonard House, 57, died March 4, 2009, in Birmingham, Ala. Services are today at 2 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Wright officiating and James Walden and Rick Cash assisting. Burial will follow at Meadow Branch Cemetery in Kennedy, Ala. Mrs. House was born April 8, 1951, in Tuscaloosa, Ala., to Olen and the late Earnestine Watkins Leonard. She was preceded in death by her mother, Earnestine Watkins; and brother, Tommy Leonard. In addition to her father, of Kennedy, Ala., she is survived by her husband, Edward “Buddy” House, of Millport; daughters, Ronda Kimbrough, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Bonnie Hattaway, of Vernon, Ala.; sons, Chris and Samuel House, both of Millport; sisters, Debra McKay and Lawana Holloway, both of Columbus; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert and David House, Mike and Mark Cash, Thomas and Will Scrivner, Richard Holloway and Donnie Parker.
