MACON — Germon Brown, 75, died Nov. 16, 2012, at his residence. Services are Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is today at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Mr. Brown was born Dec. 23, 1936, to the late Leonard and Rosetta Brown. He was a member of the Sensational Raising Star of Macon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Brown; two children; two brothers; and a sister. Survivors include his daughters, Jacalyn Jefferson of West Point, Debra Mosley and Sharon Young, both of Macon; brothers, L.C . Brown and Charleston Brown, both of Macon; sisters, Rosie Hopkins, Hazel Shepherd and Susie Knight, all of Hattiesburg, Aretha Mitchell of Macon and Marnita Brown of DeKalb; and four grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
