SULLIGENT, Ala. — Georgie Lee Robinson, 79, died November 23, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center-Hospice in Tupelo.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Glenn Hughes officiating. Burial followed Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the church. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Robinson was born on August 26, 1943 in Marksville, Louisiana to the late Alvin Sr. Juneau and the late Virginia Dauzat. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Leonard Robinson; son, Charles Jeansonne; daughter, Marty Cunningham; brothers, Alvin Juneau, Jessie Juneau; sisters, Elaine Juneau and Nellis Juneau.
She is survived by her son, Eddie Jeansonne of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; daughters, Sonya West of Gattman, Mississippi, Shelia Lewis of Walker, Louisiana; brother, Jimmie Juneau of Hessmer, Louisiana; sister, Gloria Nuecere; eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
