Georgia Ewing

WEST POINT — Georgia Mae Ewing, 63, died June 18, 2022, at her residence. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Northside Christian Church, with the Rev. Donald Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Third Union Cemetery in Prairie. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Ewing was born Dec. 6, 1958, in West Point, to the late Tommy Lee Ewing and Amanda Cox Ewing. She was formerly employed as a cook. 

She is survived by her son, Demarques Ewing; daughters, Cynthia Ewing and Ashley Ewing; brothers, Tommy Lee Ewing  Jr., Willie C. Ewing, Donnie Ewing and Calvin Ewing; sisters, Brenda F. Ewing, Josephine Ewing, Shirley Ewing and Gloria Ewing; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
