COLUMBUS — George Wade “Dee” Shepherd, 64, May 23, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital–Golden Triangle. Graveside services are Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Miller officiating. Visitation is Friday from noon to 1 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Shepherd was born Nov. 4, 1947, to the late Roscoe C. and Mildred Mabus Shepherd Jr. Survivors include his daughter, Angela Shepherd of Columbus; sisters, Bobbie Sue Fowler and Margaret Smith, both of Columbus, and Martha Harris of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; brothers, Roscoe C. Shepherd III and Ricky Shepherd, both of Columbus; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers are Ken Kennemore, Mike James, Buddy Burks and Vic Gibson.
