COLUMBUS — Freida Hudspeth, 76, died Jan. 30, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. Services are incomplete and will be announced by Lowndes Funeral Home of Columbus. Mrs. Hudspeth was born Oct. 5, 1941, to the late Basil Alton and Mary Kate Dean Barnhill. She was formerly employed by First Bank of Jackson and Wells Fargo Bank in Alaska. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bruce Barnhill and Dennis Barnhill. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Lee Hudspeth of Macon; daughters, Renee Lewis of Meridian, Tina Hudspeth of Anchorage, Alaska and Marie Stoneman-Froude of Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Glenn Barnhill; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
