WEST POINT — Henry Franklin Barham, 76, died June 5, 2009, at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Kosciusko. Services are Monday at 2 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Craven officiating. Burial will follow at Sailors Cemetery near Vernon, Ala. Visitation is Monday from noon until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Barham was born Oct. 11, 1932, in Lowndes County to the late Ruby Adair Barham and Robert Doyle Barham. He graduated with honors from Mississippi State University and he was a veteran of the U.S Army serving during the Korean War. He was a supervisor of data processing for Amback in Columbus for a number of years. He was a member of Old Aberdeen Road Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Wayne Barham. He is survived by his daughters, Debra Baird and Gail Ray, both of West Point, and Nita Woodson of Vickburg; son, Bruce Barham of Waco, Texas; sister, Frances Taylor of Crawford; brothers, Eldon Barham of Caledonia, and Paul Barham of West Point; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
