WEST POINT — Felix Johnson, 90, died March 30, 2009, at North Mississippi Medical Center–West Point. Services are Thursday at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Samuel Messina officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday for one hour prior to services at the church. Robinson Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Johnson was born Feb. 16, 1919, in Starkville to the late Olive Myrtle Fulton and Felix Ernest Johnson Sr. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, having served during World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Felix Alan Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Virginia K. Johnson of West Point; son, Charles Johnson of West Point; daughters, Helen Louise Langford of West Point, Virginia Lynn Kyle of Columbus and Mary Ann Britt of Starkville; brother, William E. Johnson of Chipley, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jonathan, Kevin and Christopher Johnson, Tim Britt, and Tom and T.J. Kyle.
