WEST POINT — Fannie R. Edwards-Barner, 52, died Nov. 9, 2020, at Evanston Hospital of Chicago, Illinois. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, in Greenwood Cemetery, the Rev. Sammie Hill officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30-11 a.m. prior to services at the cemetery. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Edwards-Barner was born Feb. 3, 1968, in West Point, to Katie Cooperwood and the late Willie C. Rhoden. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Howard Barner; children, Chris Edwards, Antonio Fenton and Calvin Jackson; siblings, Annie Edwards, Queen Bradshaw, Jerry Edwards, Danny Edwards, David Edwards, Chris Grady, Mike Wilburn and Johnny Barner; and seven grandchildren.
