Fannie Brewer

CRAWFORD — Fannie Mae Brewer, 57, died April 11, 2021, at West Point Community Living Center.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Oakland M.B. Church, with Sammie White officiating. Burial will follow at Brush Fork M.B. Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. today, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brewer was born May 11, 1963, in Macon, to the late Willie James Johnson and Fannie Short Bush. She was a graduate of Noxubee High school and EMCC. She was formerly employed as deputy clerk with the Circuit Clerk office at Lowndes County Courthouse and was a member of Oakland M.B. Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, E.J. Short, Johnny L. Bush, Leon Bush, Eddie Short and Mary Ann Bush.
She is survived by her children, Ronald Anthony Jr., Jessica Anthony, Jasmine Deloach, Jeniya Edwards, all of Crawford and Joseph Antwon Anthony Sr. of Brooksville; siblings, Gwendolyn King, Sylvester Short, Vera Bush, all of Crawford, Bernice Bankhead of Columbus, Willie Johnson Jr., Lucy Key, both of Starkville, Ora Bush of Bossier City, Louisiana and Mary Short of Chicago, Illinois; and 14 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Keon Bankhead, Jamel Bibbs, Gregory Short, Sylvester Short Jr., Cory Short and Rodrick Smith.
