ABERDEEN — Eva Irene Hatfield, 97, died July 23, 2016, at Aberdeen Care Center. Services were at 7 p.m., Saturday, at Lowndes Funeral Home with Herbert Hatfield Jr. officiating. Burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, Florida. Mrs. Hatfield was born Oct. 24, 1918, in Delbarton, West Virginia. She was a member of Aberdeen Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbant M. Hatfield Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Merilynn Hatfield Chew; sons, Herbert M. Hatfield Jr., David Rodney Hatfield and Paul Del Hatfield; sister, Wilma Jean Farley Lyons; 11 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
