GORDO, Ala. — Estelle Connell Harcrow, 82, died March 6, 2010, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services are Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jerry Croft and Leonard Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Visitation is today from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Harcrow was born Aug. 13, 1927, in Gordo, Ala., to the late Samuel David Connell and Julia Ann Cabiness Connell. She was a retired receptionist for McFarland Mall in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and a lifelong resident of Pickens County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Horace Harcrow; brothers, Wilson Connell and Clifton Connell; sisters, Lucille Reynolds, Ethel McAteer and Maggie Smith; and grandson, Jerremy Harcrow. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Hudson, of Gordo, Ala.; son, Jerre Daniel Harcrow, of Bessemer, Ala.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers are Kip Evans, Dwain Templeton, Kent Reynolds, Dale Lancaster, Gene McAteer and Roy McAteer.
