WEST POINT — Emma Lou Betts, 76, died Oct. 30, 2022, in Amory.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Union Star M.B. Church, with Barry Huddleston officiating. Burial will follow in Union Star Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Betts was born Sept. 20, 1946, in West Point, to the late Charles Henry Tolliver Sr. and Georgia Mae Hood Tolliver. She was formerly employed as a school teacher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Betts Jr.; and brothers, Kenny Tolliver and Dewayne Tolliver.
She is survived by her sons, Calvin Tolliver, John Tolliver Sr., Williams Smith Sr. and DeMon; daughters, Tenitia Walker II and Kim Betts; brothers, Charles Henry Tolliver Jr., Sylvester Tolliver, Bruce Tolliver, Terry Logan and Anthony Tolliver; sisters, Joyce Washington and Gloria Ligon; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren.
