Eloise Cochrane

CARROLLTON, Ala. — Eloise W. Cochrane, 71, died March 31, 2009, at her residence. Services are Friday at 2 p.m. at Dogwood Chapel with the Rev. Keith Crowley officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Dogwood Chapel in Aliceville, Ala. Skelton Funeral Home of Reform, Ala., is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Cochrane was born June 23, 1937, in Thomasville, Ala., to the late Frank Grady Walker and Mable Ethridge Walker. She was a member of Pentecostal Church of God and a retired employee of Huyck Felt Co. She was a resident of Pickens County for the past 49 years. She is survived by her sons, James V. Cochrane III and John D. Cochrane; sisters, Sandra Gail Johnson, Syble Smith and Margaret Broome; one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.
