WEST POINT — Ellen Faye Hickman Eaton, 86, died Dec. 2, 2022.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Calvert Funeral Home, with the Rev. Cary Sutphin and Rev. John Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery in Montpelier. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Eaton was born Nov. 20, 1036, in Manila, Arkansas, to the late William Dock Hickman and Jettie Mae Quinn. She was formerly employed as a bus driver with Clay County School, at Knickerbocker, Monty Glove and at Franklin Corporation. She was a member of Palestine Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Eaton; brothers, W.E. Hickman, Leroy Hickman, Alton Hickman, D.W. Hickman and James Hickman; and sisters, Lilly Pearl Naramore, Eula Williamson and Ruby Easley.
She is survived by her husband, Hubert Eaton; daughters,Athena Wilkerson of West Point and Diane Morris of Seabrook, Texas; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Andy Moore, Keith Thompson, Tim Thompson, Brad Davis, Shawn Lee and Christopher Lee.
