STARKVILLE — Douglas “Bones” Howell Goodwin, 49, died Sept. 1, 2012, at OCH Regional Medical Center. Services are Thursday at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tommy Temple officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Park. Visitation is two hours prior to services. Welch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Goodwin was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Starkville Academy Booster Club and was the broker and owner of Maroon and White Realty. Survivors include his sons, Will Goodwin and Jake Goodwin, both of Starkville; parents, Donald and Anita Goodwin of Dekalb; and sisters, Debbie Richardson of Starkville and Beverly Goodwin of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
