GATTMAN — Dorothy Ives McKay, 61, died March 24, 2019, at her residence. Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Otts Funeral Home Chapel with Glenn Hughes and Bobby Joe Dupree officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Otts Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. McKay was born Aug. 20, 1957, in Bangor, Michigan, to the late Bennie Joe Ives and Martha Sue Walls. She attended Sulligent schools and was formerly employed as a seamstress with Gattman Sportswear. She was a member of Revelation Holiness Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Joe Ives; and sisters, Robin Hankins and Mary Ives. She is survived by her husband, Ricky McKay of Gattman; sons, Robert E. McKay and Terry L. McKay, both of Sulligent; daughter, Tammy L. White of Sulligent; and brothers, James “Bug” Ives and Steven Ives, both of Sulligent and Bobby Joe Ives of Vernon; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Timothy White, Benjamin McKay, Nick McKay, Cody Glenn, Danny Scott, James Smith and Jacob White.
