COLUMBUS — Dorothy Neil Bunton, 54, died Jan. 14, 2017. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Eastview Baptist Church in Columbus. Lowndes Funeral Home and Crematory of Columbus is entrusted with arrangements. Mrs. Bunton was born March 8, 1963, in Columbus to Lavelle Eads and the late Newton Bennett. She lived in Columbus almost her entire lifetime and was formerly employed as a cashier at Sprint Mart for many years. She is survived by her husband, James T. Bunton of Columbus; son, Terry Boykin of Steens; daughters, Christy Keefer and Heather Cosby, both of Columbus; mother, Lavelle Bennett of Columbus; sister, Kathy Cox of Flintstone, Georgia; brother, Johnny Bennett of Columbus; and five grandchildren.
