WEST POINT — Doris Ledbetter, 89, died July 3, 2019, at her residence. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Sallee and Jimmy Nolan officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ledbetter was born April 20, 1930, in Chickasaw County, to the late Lafayette Arnold Sr. and Dellie Morris Moore. She was a member of West End Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Neily Ferrell “Pete” Ledbetter; sisters, Ruth Martin, Peggy Knight and Jean Smith; and brothers, Lafayette Arnold Moore Jr., Tom Moore and Jimmy Moore. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie L. Turman of West Point and Kim L. White of Cedar Bluff; son, William F. “Bubbie” Ledbetter of West Point; sister, Lynn Atkinson of Caledonia; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Barry Martin, Terry Martin, Justin Atkinson, Tim Boatner, Mike Weeks, Jeff Cartee, Watkins Rye and Jimmy Nolan. Memorials may be made to Sally Kate Winters Family Services, P.O.
