Devert Wilkins

COLUMBUS — Devert Debra “Sister” Wilkins, 64, died April 28, 2022, at her residence.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Next Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church, with Leon Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Union Hopewell M.B. Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Wilkins was born July 17, 1957, in Columbus, to the late Loranzo Wilkins and Annie Will Wilkins.. She was a graduate of Mississippi University for Women and was a member of Stephen Chapel M.B. Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Tommie Cribbs, Joe Wilkins, Loranzo Wilkins Jr., Ricky Wilkins, and Ruth Cribbs.

She is survived by her sister, Judy Ann Wilkins Williams.

Pallbearers will be Levorn Williams Jr., Levorn Williams Sr., Courtavious Williams, LaDarius Williams, Jaiveyion Dunlap, and Shannon Lee Sr.
