STARKVILLE — Dero Trice, 92, died Oct. 3, 2016, at his residence. Services will be at 11 a.m. at Welch Funeral Home with the Rev. Todd Chesser officiating. Burial will follow in Bevill Hill Methodist Church Cemetery in Louisville; Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Mr. Trice was previously employed with Amtrak Railways. He was a member of Bevill Hill Methodist Church in Louisville and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, John William Milton Mack Trice and Viola Futrell Trice Varner; wife, Christine Trice; and son, Johnny Trice. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Virginia Anderson of Starkville; son, Tony Allen Trice of Orlando, Florida; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
