WEST POINT — Deborah Jean Temple, 54, died April 9, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. Services are Thursday at noon at Third Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in West Point with the Rev. Al Lathan Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Visitation is today from 3-6 p.m. at Carter’s Mortuary Services Chapel in West Point. Ms. Temple was born Aug. 2, 1954, in West Point. She was preceded in death by her father, William Temple Sr.; brothers, Freddie B. Smith and William Temple Jr. She is survived by her mother, Betty Temple of West Point; son, Kody Temple of Lawrenceville, Ga.; daughters, Luciana Temple of Robinsonville and Nivea Temple of Lawrenceville; brothers, Ira L. and Ronnie L. Temple, both of West Point; sisters, Carolyn Swoope, Mary L. Allen and Barbara Anderson, all of West Point, and Brenda Sampson and Melevine Temple, both of Los Angeles.
