ABERDEEN — Rabon David Kirkley, 53, died Feb. 4, 2009, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. Services are today at 3 p.m. at the Shiloh Methodist Church near Vernon, Ala. with Bro. Mac Phillphs officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. E.E. Pickle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Kirkley was born Aug. 5, 1955, in Columbus to Wanda Jean Ayres Kirkley and the late Alton Ray Kirkley. He lived in West Point and in the Aberdeen area for 25 years. He owned and operated Coontail Body Shop. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Betty Jean Kirkley. He is survived by his mother, Wanda Jean Kirkley of West Point; daughter, Heather Kirkley Zanier of Amory; brothers, Danny Ray Kirkley and Ronnie Dale Kirkley, both of West Point. Pallbearers will be Joey Perry, Danny Stoddard, Donnie Richardson, and Cole Archer.
