MACON — Curtis Dodd, 55, died Oct. 17, 2012, at his residence in Longview. Graveside services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at Oddfellows Cemetery in Macon with Carl Johnson officiating. There will be no visitation. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Dodd was born in Mississippi County, Mo. to the late Robert Frank and Margie Harris. He served in the United States Army from 1974 until 1976 and the Army reserve for seven years and was honorably discharged as an E-3. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Macon. He was a professional house painter by trade. Survivors include his daughters, Angela Stewart and Zabria Dodd, both of Macon; sons, Curt Dodd, Immanual Dodd and Tiedrekiss Dodd, all of Macon; sisters, Zella Hartle of Columbus, Susie Woods of Macon, Ruby Tedder of Starkville and Ann Dodd of Macon; brothers, Robert Lee Dodd of Walnut Grove and Dennie Dodd of Bastrop, La. and three grandchildren.
