WEST POINT — Curtis Alvin Davidson, 85, died Oct. 2, 2021, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, at Strong Hill Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Darren Harris officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30-11 a.m. prior to services at the cemetery. Carter’s Mortuary of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Davidson was born May 4, 1936, in Vardaman, to the late Alvin Davidson and Ruby Jones Davidson. He was formerly employed as a barber.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Calvin Davidson; and siblings, George Howard Davidson, Halon Cedell Davidson, Thomas Odis Davidson, Clemmie Clifton Davidson and John Dera Davidson.
He is survived by his wife, Edella Davidson; children, Curtis Verell Davidson, Cedric Davidson, Jonathan Davidson and Wanda Davidson; siblings, Ruby Moore, May Opal Veazy, Lois Taylor, Corene Talley, Cora Jones and Jones Davidson; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
