Clearman Yarbrough

ABERDEEN — Clearman Yarbrough, 75, died March 26, 2009, at his residence. Services were Saturday at 2 p.m. at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with Bro. Robert Earl Fowlks officiating. Burial followed at New Hope Cemetery. Mr. Yarbrough was born Sept. 20, 1933, in Vernon, Ala., to the late Banks and Audie Johnson Yarbrough. He lived in Monroe County for 47 years and was a retired boiler maker for B & W in West Point. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Emma Nolen Yarbrough; one grandchild; two sisters and three brothers. He is survived by his daughter, Brandy Petty of Aberdeen; stepdaughters, Sandra Kendrick of Tremont, Sue Prestridge of Corinth and Dot Foster of Aberdeen; son, Billy Ray Yarbrough of Lackey Community; sister, Dorothy Crawford of Vernon; brothers, F.L. Yarbrough of Vernon, and Johnny Yarbrough of Montgomery, Ala.; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Toby Yarbrough, Zach Evans, Charles Petty, Johnny, Tony and Michael Kendrick.
