BROOKSVILLE — Clabon Brewer, 56, died Oct. 31, 2018, at Regency Hospital in Meridian. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church with the Rev. Sammie Lyons officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon. Carter’s Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Brewer was born June 29, 1962, in Noxubee County, to Annie Dowd Brewer and the late Charlie Brewer. He was a member of Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Brewer; and sister, Mary Brewer. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Maurice Henley Sr.; siblings, James Earl Brewer, Kennedy Brewer, James C. Brewer, Daniel Brewer, Carzell Brewer, Pem Brewer, Willie Brewer, Sam Earl Brewer, Charlie Brewer, Josephine Green, Martha Brewer, Ruby Brewer and Annie Jane Brewer, all of Brooksville; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tedrick Brewer, Tamoryo Brewer, Willie Roby, Thallipa Brewer, James C. Pippin and Gary Brewer.
