AMORY — Charlotte Jean Bostick Hughes, 51, died March 3, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Ms. Hughes was born Jan. 24, 1959, in Red Bay, Ala., to the late Haskell Veto and Betty Jean Ruple Bostick. She lived in Zion, Ill., and in Amory since 1994. She had worked at McDonald’s, Savings Gas and Big Star before becoming disabled. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Laneya Hughes, of Amory; sister, Tabatha Lynn Bostick, of Smithville; stepfather, Ernest Lee Brown, of Tipp City, Ohio.
