MABEN — Carrie Ann McKinney, 70, died April 4, 2009, at Oktibbeha County Hospital–Starkville. Services are Friday at 2 p.m. at Bluff Creek Missionary Baptist Church in West Point with the Rev. R.L. Avant officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation is today from 3-6 p.m. at Carter’s Mortuary Services Chapel in West Point. Ms. McKinney was born Oct. 15, 1938, in West Point. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Emma McKinney; and brothers, Roosevelt and John Allen McKinney. She is survived by her brothers, Freddie McKinney and Robert Quinn, both of West Point; sisters, Francis Johnson and Elmaree Avant, both of Maben, Bertha Hudson of Roxbury, Mass., Izola Price and Icie Maxwell, both of Grenada, Dorothy Ford of Cedar Bluff, Shirley Williams of West Point and Mamie Young of Kansas City, Kan.
