HAMILTON — Betty Glass Stanford, 73, died Jan. 2, 2010, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Services are today at 2 p.m. at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with Dr. Freddie Rasberry officiating. Burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Stanford was born March 5, 1936, to the late William Elbert Glass and Mertice Pearl Hardin Glass in Monroe County, where she was a lifelong resident. She retired as a registered nurse at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. She graduated with LPN and RN Degrees at Itawamba Junior College. She was a member of Hamilton Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Honeycutt; son, Mike Angle; and sister, Catherine Rushing. She is survived by her husband, Charles Stanford, of Hamilton; daughter, Diane Wagner, of Napierville, Ill.; son, J. P. Angle, of Hamilton; sister, Virginia Burks, of Memphis, Tenn.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Cleatis Stanford, Frank Stanford, Doug Stanford, Justin West, Jeremy West, Jason West, Robert Brown and Tim Nolen.
