HAMILTON — Bennie Frank Palmer, 84, died April 12, 2019, in Hamilton. Services were April 19, 2019, at Hamilton Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Roger McGrew and Bo Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Friendship Cemetery. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Palmer was born Feb. 2, 1934, in Montgomery, to the late Bennie and Frances Gaines Palmer. He was formerly employed as a jeweler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Theodore Palmer of South Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Chatham Palmer of Hamilton; children, Johnny and Dorothy Brooks of Clinton, Gayle Jarrell of Hamilton and James Holt of Eagle Lake; brother, Billy Palmer of Virginia; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
