COLUMBUS — Barrington W. Powell, 74, died Nov. 15, 2022, at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Carter’s Funeral Services, with Randy Randle officiating. Burial will follow at Sandfield Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. today, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Powell was born April 21, 1948, in Four Paths, Clarendon, Jamaica, to the late Wilfred Powell and Lynette Plummer Powell. He was formerly employed as a security guard for Allied Security.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Powell; and sister, Arlene Reid.
He is survived by his sisters, Ancelia Walker, Clare Campbell and Ylodia Smith; and brothers, Charles Powell and Lance Powell.
Pallbearers will be Charles Powell, Andrew Powell, Steven Reid, Delano Reid and Rory Smith.
