BROOKSVILLE — Annie Lizzie Davis Henley, 75, died July 17, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Charity Mission Full Gospel Baptist Church in Crawford, with Bobby L. McCarter Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Harrison Grove M.B. Church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. today, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Henley was born Nov. 23, 1946, in Brooksville, to the late J.L. Lomax and Ethel B. Caine. She was formerly employed as a custodian with Noxubee County School District.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ruthie Mae Davis, Ethel B. Cain, Annie Mae Davis Geraldine Henry, John C. Lomax and Eddie L. Caine.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane Ryland of Columbus and Dorothy Henley Smith of Brooksville; sons, Daniel Davis of Crawford, Art T. Davis of Brooksville and Edward George Henley of Brooksville; sisters, Willie Bell Carter of Augusta, Georgia, Dorothy Selvie and Betty Jean Cunningham, both of Columbus; brothers, Willie Caine of Columbus and L.C. Lomax of Marion, Indiana; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Bibbs, Daniel Brewer, Orlando Brewer, Carlos Jackson, Caleb Wells and Donnie Yarbrough.
