EUPORA — Anna Ruth Mason, 58, died June 29, 2009, at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital in Kosciusko. Services are Thursday at 11 a.m. at Wise Funeral Home in Eupora, with the Rev. Carpenter officiating. Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sapa Cemetery. She was born Feb. 16, 1951. She was a retired truant officer of Webster County and a Baptist. Mrs. Mason was a Vietnam Air Force veteran and a lifelong member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxillary and Daughters of American Veterans. She was also a member of Eupora Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 261. She is survived by her husband, Butch Mason, of Eupora; daughter, Kelly Novak, of Forest City, Ark.; son, Bill Mason, of Eupora; and four grandchildren.
