MACON — Anderson Clay Hollis, 85, died at Sept. 29, 2018, at North Delta Hospice House in Southaven. Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Macon with Andy Pearson and Bob Whiteside officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to service at the church. Graveside service is private and for the family only. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is entrusted with arrangements Mr. Hollis was a U.S. Army veteran. He formerly worked in supervisory positions for both Occidental Petroleum Corporation and Gen Corp. Anderson was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Macon and was a member of the Masonic Temple and a Shriner He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Hollis.. He is survived by daughters, Beverly Arnold of Hernando, Karan Ndinga of Milford, Ohio, and Sandra Weeks of Warren, New Jersey; sisters, Betty Dawkins of Columbus and Sarah Nordwall of Honolulu, Hawaii; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Macon.
