SULLIGENT, Ala. — Albert Stevens, 90, died April 24, 2019, at Noland Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Services were at 4 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of Otts Funeral Home in Sulligent with Mark Tucker officiating. Burial followed at Blaylock Cemetery. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Stevens was born Oct. 10, 1928, in Middleton, Michigan, to the late Peter Jacobs and Stella M. Walczak. He attended Michigan schools and was formerly employed with Rogers Refrigeration in Vernon. He was also owner and operator of a sheet metal business. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Stevens; and daughter, Sherry Morton. He is survived by his wife, Genave W. Stevens of Sulligent; sons, Ron Stevens of Columbus and Mark Stevens of Belden; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
