NOXUBEE COUNTY — Albert Gardner, 73, died May 6, 2023, at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at Redeemed By God Ministries in Brooksville, with Terry Franklin officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Samuel MBC Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Thursday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Gardner was born on Sept. 2, 1949, in Noxubee County, to the late Albert Walker and Ella Mae Gardner Malone. He was a member of Redeemed By God Ministries.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Mallard; and sister, Willie Pearl Taylor.
He is survived by his son, Darrell Garnder of Haines City, Florida; siblings, James Walker of Verona, Larry Walker and Eldridge Walker, both of Detroit, Michigan, and Lashunda Holman of Tupelo; step-siblings, Tom Roby, Michael Roby, Betty Roby and Margaret Roby; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Deyonteize Mallard, Dequarius Mallard, Jericho Mallard, Duane Barrett, Tony Neal Jr. and Tyrell Neal.
