Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and Monroe County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the homicide of a Caledonia man.
William “Lee” Elliott, 36, of 130 Coulter St., died at a home near Aberdeen early Friday, according to information from Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley’s office. Gurley declined to say how Elliott appeared to have died, but said his body has been sent to the state medical examiner’s office in Pearl for autopsy next week.
MBI has not indicated whether an arrest has been made in the case.
