BankFirst Financial Services recently promoted James Hazard to vice president, business development banker.
Hazard is responsible for ensuring the Bank continues to generate new business loans and deposits, treasury management services, and other revenue income. Hazard has nine years of banking experience, nearly a third having been with BankFirst. He earned a bachelor of business administration in 2010 from Auburn University, graduated in 2018 from the South Eastern School of Advanced Commercial Lending, and is set to graduate in 2021 from the Louisiana State University School of Banking.
Hazard resides in Columbus with his wife, Chase, and serves on several boards and committees.
