There's a new one-stop salon and boutique at 423 Main St.

Walking by Faith Salon and Faith Fabulous Boutique held its grand opening Oct. 27. Owners Sherlonda Hopson and Joe Bafford, offer hair, makeup, a barber shop and women's clothes. Though the boutique currently only offers unique and affordable women's clothes, they will be adding men's clothes soon. They currently have four employees and are open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

Also on Main Street, Party and Paper has officially closed its doors. But don't worry, Party and Paper owner Susan McKay is holding a grand opening for Impressions by Susan, at 424 Main St., today.

McKay will have wine and cheese from 4-7 p.m. The print and stationary shop will be open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Another building on Main Street has officially been sold. The building, 411 Main St., housed two different restaurants in downtown Columbus: Front Door/Back Door that closed in February 2014, and the Old 82 Restaurant that opened in 2014 and closed in 2016 before opening and closing again this past year.

Columbus developer Chris Chain sold the building to his sister, Holly Newman.

Newman said the building offers retail or restaurant space and is currently being marketed for a new tenant.

Over in Starkville, if you're looking to burn some calories, Orange Theory Fitness held its grand opening Wednesday. The gym, at 401 University Dr., offers one-hour fitness classes every day from 5 a.m.-6:45 p.m.

The gym offers one-hour workout sessions for cardiovascular and strength training, while monitoring your heart rate. General Manager Jason Edwards said the initial class is free and membership costs vary depending on how many classes you decide to take.

If you're driving on Highway 12, you might have seen Head Over Heels opened its new location this past month. Head over Heels, 450 Highway 12 Suite B, offers shoes, handbags, jewelry and custom clothing Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

The Flower Company expects to open at its new location by this Monday. Currently located on Russell Street, owner Whitney Wofford said the new building, at 401 E. Lampkin St., offers a larger space. The Flower Company is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and offers personalized floral arrangements and gifts.

Big Buns and More, a cinnamon roll bakery, held its grand opening last Friday. The bakery, 332 Highway 12 W., is open Tuesday through Thursday 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Fridays from 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m-4 p.m.
