A 21-year-old Columbus man faces charges of burglary and touching a child for lustful purposes after he allegedly entered a neighbor’s home and assaulted a child younger than 14.
Columbus police arrested Kimetry Shaiem Elliott, of 1616 Shepherd Dr., at his home Tuesday, according to a police department press release.
Elliott had been a guest at the victim’s home in the past, the press release said. One day when the victim was home alone, Elliott allegedly entered the house where he inappropriately touched and then physically assaulted the victim.
Elliott’s bond has not been set.
