A Columbus woman is behind bars on a child endangerment charge.
Officers with the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ciarra Michaels, 20, of 222 Land Road, on Wednesday. According to Lowndes County Justice Court documents, Michaels had her 19-month-old child in a trailer where officers found a felony amount of methamphetamines Tuesday. The home also did not have electricity or running water, the documents said.
Michaels does not yet face any drug charges. Further details on the case were unavailable by press time.
Michaels remains in custody on a $10,000 bond.
