A Starkville woman was arrested last week after she allegedly cut a victim in the Wal-Mart parking lot.
Officers arrived at the big box store on July 14 after receiving a call about an altercation. There, they found an injured man who was later treated and released for non-life-threatening injuries.
Starkville Police Department charged Treanna Jefferson, 20, with aggravated assault.
The incident remains under investigation, according to a Starkville Police Department release.
Jefferson later posted a $10,000 bond and was released.
Her initial appearance in Starkville Municipal Court is scheduled for Aug. 15.
In a separate incident, SPD also charged two juveniles with auto burglary Saturday.
The incident occurred at the Holiday Inn Express, located at 110 B Highway 12 West.
The two youths were released to their parents after they were processed, a SPD release states, and additional arrests are expected.
Anyone with information on this or any other incident is asked to call SPD at 662-323-4134 or the Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 800-530-7151.
