COLUMBUS — Zach Foster has been promoted to engineer manager at the Columbus office of Neel-Schaffer, a multi-disciplined engineering, planning and construction management firm located in numerous offices throughout the Southern region of the United States.
Foster joined Neel-Schaffer’s Columbus office in 2011 and has worked as a project engineer assisting with engineering design, project and construction management services for several development projects. He was also recently promoted to vice president and project manager of the Columbus office in January. In his new role, he will oversee the firm’s Columbus projects.
Foster, a registered professional engineer in Mississippi, completed the civil site design package for the $100 million Altex Steel Tube Manufacturing plant on the Steel Dynamics Campus near the Golden Triangle Regional Airport.
Foster also serves on the board of directors for the Columbus-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce.
