STARKVILLE — A Crawford man who shot one person Friday morning in the Dave’s Dark Horse Tavern Parking lot has been charged with aggravated assault, shooting into a dwelling and two counts of malicious mischief.
Ledarius Sanders, 24, was arrested on Friday evening, according to an SPD press release.
An argument between Sanders and the 24-year-old male victim escalated into gunfire in the parking lot outside of Dave’s and the Red Roof Inn at about 12:30 a.m. on Friday morning. The victim was flown to an out-of-area hospital for treatment and is now in stable condition.
Two vehicles were also damaged by gunfire.
The shooting is still under investigation and more arrests are expected.
