Columbus native Julie Markle has been promoted to a partner position at Wier Boerner Allin Architecture, an architecture firm based in Jackson.
Markle has served as a project manager at the firm for eight years. Her responsibilities include management of local community projects and garnering new client relationships to support the firm.
In her previous role, Markle worked to build lasting relationships with clients and oversee public, hospitality and athletic projects by communicating with clients on initial design concepts and managing detailed instructions for build outs. She also works as a mentor for younger designers at WBA.
Markle is a graduate of Mississippi State University’s College of Architecture, Art and Design and currently leads several on-campus athletic projects.
