STEM competition
From left, Heritage Academy sixth-graders Coleman Martin, Grice Garner and Landon McGregory loaded a robot with ping-pong-sized balls to try to get them in a basket to win points on Friday. The three competed as a team against students in their age group as part of the 2022-2023 MAIS STEM Competition. Approximately 100 students in grades 3-12 participated. The team with the most points in the allotted amount of time were crowned the winners. Jessica Lindsey/Dispatch Staff
